Like Ashes to Dust, artist designed game from mixed media and found objects (mason jars, ashes, ink on paper, thread), 2016.
Jars contain burnt remains of personally relevant family items, each with an attached description. Rules for the game can be found inside the Official Handbook (pictured). Each mason jar is designed to be a game piece to represent individual players. Players role two six-sided die and based on the outcome of the dice roll, are assigned either a Loss or a Gain of variable consequence; a complete listing of Losses and Gains is included in the game set. Losses cause players to move down the gridded game board while Gains cause plays to move upwards; the closer to the bottom of the game board represents the closer the player reaches towards accumulated decay and death.
