ARTIST STATEMENT:
My work is a compulsion to investigate physical presence and palpable experience. Within mixed media and found materials related to the human body, I am caught in the drama of an anatomical wasteland. My obsessions are solidified as corporeal rhythms, calculations stitched to a body, a space between with and without. I count freckles, mistake veins for rivers, see weight as power.
